Innovation Showcase

Innovation lies at the heart of our show and so this popular feature is returning to shine a light on the fantastic work our suppliers have done over the last year.

The Innovation Showcase will see 12 finalists and their groundbreaking solutions compete for the title of ‘Most Innovative Pack’. Make sure you stop by to experience these products in person and vote for your favourite.

The winner from last year was FFP Packaging Ltd with their ‘Reseal & Recycle’ pack. The pack was developed to offer an immediate solution that utilises current recycling streams. Completely recyclable, the pack is comprised of a tray, lidding film and resealable label.

Ecopack Challenge

In association with Marks & Spencer, this Dragon’s Den style competition invites a panel of experienced judges to assess and pick a solution for the coveted title of Most Innovative Pack!

The 2019 winner Flexi-Hex is a 100% biodegradable and recyclable packaging alternative removing the need for traditional single use plastic such as bubble wrap and tape. The innovative hexagonal cellular structure is flexible enough to fit almost any product from surfboards, to bottles to candles.

We can’t wait to see who will take the eco crown in 2020!

Start-Up Village

The Start-Up Village offers you the chance to discover the future stars of the industry, with innovative solutions from technology to sustainability.

In 2019 the village showcased everything from a complete IoT eco-system, gloves that allowed hands-free barcode scanning to flat wine bottles.
