The Original Bach Flower Remedies box contains multiple packaging elements which combine together to convey the feeling of a premium pack containing some very valuable ‘magic potions’. The shape and structure of the rigid box material is sturdy and reassuringly secure with 38 dropper bottles inside. Despite the sturdiness of the pack, the graphics are beautifully feminine with colourways and illustrations to match the well-known Bach Flower Remedies branding.
The prime functionality of the pack is to deliver the contents safely and securely to the end-consumer – likely to be professional practitioners who would need it to be portable, but safe. The inner tray adds to the security, tightly holding each dropper bottle in its place. It enhances the opening experience as each bottle can be hand-packed to be front-facing, enforcing a sense of uniformity and brand perfection. The magnetic closure on the front panel has also been added to ensure that the lid is kept tightly closed, as well as adding to the premium feel of the pack. A space was created behind the bottles for additional pamphlets and a ‘product locator’ was designed for the inside of the lid to make it easy and quick to find the correct remedy.
Rigid box material naturally stands out amongst its peers for its premium look and feel. The structure of the pack adds gravitas and security to the product offering yet the femininity of the graphics adds to its beauty. The magnetic opening experience and the revelation of all 38 dropper bottles standing perfectly in line adds to the stand-out for the consumer.
The sheer size, weight and luxury feel of the pack adds real value to the brand. The remedy bottles, when sold individually, command a premium price point, so it was important that 38 of them replicated this premium price point.
