Tungate are again heading towards the annual Packaging Innovations Show ( NEC 21st and 22nd February ) with a truly comprehensive range of kerbside recyclable paper faced flexible packaging products.
Highlights include –
Upgraded versions of Tungate’s highly successful TG18 series high barrier paper products incorporating new lower polymer % content
High shrink PET film with 30% post consumer waste content (exempt from the UK PPT)
New TG28 series ultra high barrier kerbside recyclable paper based flexible packaging materials which also possess outstanding grease resistance making them suitable for snacks, nuts, and short shelf life products. Added benefits include extremely low seal initiation thresholds to enable high speed running, and exceptionally high puncture and tear strength making these materials very suitable for large heavy products.
Commenting, Tungate’s Sales Director Gareth Partlett was effusive about the opportunities which lay ahead ; “we have worked hard over the last 3 years to establish ourselves as the “go to” supplier in the UK for these sustainable materials. We already have a significant head of steam with projects but are expecting the Birmingham Show next month to provide further momentum in what promises to be a very exciting albeit challenging year”.
