At YPS we are always looking for ways to help our local community and so we are delighted to have teamed up with William H Brown Estate Agents and become the sports kit sponsors for the Salendine Nook High School Academy in Kirklees for their upcoming sports tour.
The school have an annual sports trip abroad and look to local companies to help fund the sports kits for each pupil lucky enough to be going on the trip. At the end of this month the Year 8 boys Football team and the Year 9 girls Netball team will be heading to sunny Barcelona with YPS badges on their sleeves!
Not only will they be lucky enough to get to play games against local Spanish teams but they will also experience expert coaching whilst they are there and take part in local tournaments! If that wasn’t enough they will also be able to visit the main sights and tourist attractions, experience authentic Spanish food and take a trip to the waterpark! They will also be able test how much they have learnt in their Spanish lessons whilst out and about in the local areas and with their opponents.
Lets hope the new kits bring them luck….watch out Messi…Salendine Nook School are coming to Barcelona!
