Safety Responsibilities

Actively support the Company’s goal to ‘create a zero-injury environment’ and adhere to health and safety requirements
Encouraging all site employees to report close calls/near misses
Participating in Company safety improvement activities
Operational responsibilities

Assisting in the installation of machinery and equipment
Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of a range of equipment, including PLC
Analysis and resolution of electrical and mechanical faults and repairs
Timely response to equipment breakdowns and completion of equipment repairs
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a range of winders, conveyors and robots in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and Industry/Company practices
Accurately recording and communicating maintenance information

Ensure safe working practices are developed and maintained within area of responsibility and strive towards a goal of zero injuries.

Conduct loss studies using existing data systems to develop pareto analysis of breakdowns scrap studies, develop and complete projects to address identified opportunities
Focus on machine stops and set-ups, develop projects to improve by focusing on teamwork and engineering improvements
Where needed develop, implement and monitor appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ensuring performance is communicated and understood at all levels
Lead productivity and process improvement projects and prepare project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends, recommending actions.

Senior Sourcing Specialist

While reporting to the Associate Director of Strategic Sourcing as a Senior Sourcing Specialist you will lead the sourcing team and contribute to creating and implementing sourcing plans.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead sourcing team engagements to analyze marketplace and business needs, and develop strategies to effectively source assigned spend categories
Lead cross-functional sourcing projects for complex spend categories and/or high impact spends
Be the 3SP expert and use the end-to-end process effectively for all sourcing projects to yield the optimum results
Be capable to complete resource assessment, change management, and influence tasks required for each project.

Key Activities

Provide technical support to all areas daily across electrical, mechanical and automation disciplines.
Configuration and programming of controllers and visualizations systems using Siemens (Simatic Manager and TIA Portal and WinCC flexible software).

Processing and maintaining the purchase ledger (includes po matching, coding and processing invoices)
Involved in the month end process; ensuring prepayments are booked, investigating and resolving any discrepancies
