New hot melt jetting heads and optimisation service from Robatech seek to optimise sustainability of gluing processes

Robatech is set to showcase its innovative GreenSaver service at Interpack 2023. The service provides customers with a comprehensive analysis of their gluing processes, including identifying and implementing measures to achieve optimal savings. Alongside this, Robatech will also unveil a new product line of consumption-reducing jetting heads.

Robatech has developed the GreenSaver service to help companies reduce costs and improve sustainability by optimizing adhesive, energy, and compressed air consumption. GreenSaver will assist adhesive application systems in optimising adhesive, energy, and compressed air consumption, along with adhesive application, workplace safety, and system availability, as energy prices, raw material shortages, and supply bottlenecks pose challenges for businesses more and more frequently. Following an on-site inspection, an eight-point inspection report is produced with the goal of giving industry participants a clear picture of what needs to be done to cut costs and increase sustainability.

The SpeedStar Compact and Volta jetting heads from Robatech will also be on display at the booth; these parts reportedly allow for resource conservation while ensuring the dependable gluing of primary and secondary packaging. Each supposedly offers 500 million and 1 billion operational cycles, with high switching frequencies in the electric application heads enabling the use of hot melt stitching, which is thought to cut adhesive consumption by as much as 40%.
