Aegg Expands UK Operations with New Suffolk Warehouse

Significant boost in storage capacity and logistics to support customer growth

Aegg is thrilled to announce the expansion of its UK warehousing operations with the addition of a brand new 23,000 sq ft facility in Eye, Suffolk. This milestone brings Aegg’s total to four UK warehouses - three strategically located across Suffolk and one in Scotland - offering a combined space exceeding 150,000 sq ft.

Enhanced Capacity to Meet Demand:
This expansion reflects Aegg’s ongoing commitment to supporting the growth of food and drink brands and supermarkets’ packaging supply needs across the UK and beyond. The new site adds crucial extra capacity, ensuring that we continue to deliver our recyclable packaging solutions swiftly and reliably, even as demand increases.

Streamlined Logistics and Sustainability:
All Aegg warehouses are equipped with advanced inventory management and stock rotation systems, guaranteeing prompt dispatch to our valued customers. Distribution is managed by our dedicated in-house transport division, which now operates a robust fleet of over 30 vehicles - including two new lorries and five additional curtain siders. Our logistics team’s commitment to sustainability has been recognised through the ECO Stars scheme, underscoring our efforts to minimise environmental impact while optimising efficiency.

Prime Locations for Seamless Service:
Our Suffolk and Scottish warehouses are conveniently located near major ports at Felixstowe and Grangemouth, providing excellent transport links and facilitating speedy nationwide delivery.
