    1. US-2000 TTP

      US-2000 TTP

The universally applicable US-2000 TTP with intermittent thermal transfer printer prints variable information such as price, weight, best-before date, batch number, ingredient lists or 1D and 2D codes directly onto the band during the banding process. Print mark readers enable the precise placement of print images on pre-printed or unprinted bands. The print data can either be configured via the easy-to-use user interface or transferred from an external source (e.g. database or scales) via an interface. Depending on the version, the US-2000 TTP processes tape in widths of 30 mm, 50 mm or 60 mm.

US-3000 - an ATS banding machine that sets new benchmarks.

The successor to the world's best-selling banding machine combines the best of more than 30 years of mechanical engineering experience with state-of-the-art technology. This makes it the most reliable, user-friendly and sophisticated banding machine we have ever built. The robust banding machine is made exclusively of high-quality materials and components. The functionally well thought-out and timeless design ensures that it is a pleasure to operate and makes it a powerful, sophisticated and elegant machine with a high recognition value. A positive user experience increases productivity by avoiding operator errors, reduces training costs and ensures motivated employees. That's why we've invested heavily in design. From the self-explanatory user interface to the height-adjustable table and effortless band change. The patented ultrasonic welding technology makes the US-3000 the most powerful, reliable and energy-efficient banding machine on the market. It consumes 98% less energy than a shrinking machine and ensures consistent welding quality even in extremely cold, dusty or humid conditions. The US-3000 requires no preheating and generates no heat during welding that can damage sensitive products. After easy removal of the arch cover and table, all components are conveniently accessible. The clear separation of mechanics and electronics ensures ideal order, structure and overview. Error diagnoses and information for rectification are provided via the HMI. Built-in temperature, humidity, G-force and vibration noise sensors will in future provide information on the causes of failures and enable predictive maintenance. The controller is prepared for the connection of intelligent sensors and actuators with IO-Link. For example, for the automatic measurement of products via a light barrier.

    3. Vacuum Pouches

      Vacuum Pouches

Vacuum pouches are designed to extend shelf life and preserve product quality and freshness. They are suitable for sous vide cooking as well as microwaving and freezing, while preventing ‘freezer burn’. Barrier and non-barrier options are available, as are a wide range of material thicknesses. Thicker material has advantages when packing difficult or protruding shapes as well as meat products with bone-in. Used with a vacuum sealer, a strong seal can be created to ensure the products enjoy the benefits of enhanced preservation. They can also be used in Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) applications.

    4. Vacuum Sealer

      Vacuum Sealer

Vacuum packing removes the air from a product’s packaging to preserve product freshness and extend shelf life, which is especially useful for food products. Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP), where the pack is gas-flushed, can also be achieved with our vacuum sealing equipment. The resulting pack also protects the product from external contaminants as it is air and water proof. Our vacuum packaging equipment is simple to operate with a digital control panel that allows you to save up to 10 programmes, to swiftly switch between packing different products. The swing hood feature increases speed and productivity, so you can seal one pack whilst the next is prepared. Available in three different jaw size options, so you can select the ideal option for your operation. Supplied in hygienic stainless steel for a durable, long-lasting finish.

    5. Vacuum Skin Packaging (VSP)

      Vacuum Skin Packaging (VSP)

Enhanced protection, less waste: Coveris’ high-performance vacuum skin packaging films utilise our expertise in the production of co-extruded barrier films for maximum product protection, quality, freshness and safety. Compatible with PE, PET, PP, aluminium and cartonboard base trays, our VSP solutions prolong the shelf life of perishable foods such as fresh meat and fish, cheese, and chilled products. VSP multi-layer barrier films are manufactured at our leading PE extrusion facility in Winsford, UK, delivering supply chain product security using tailored functional performance for demanding applications. VSP has high clarity and puncture resistance and is available in a wide range of thicknesses and sealing options. Our films are validated for use on all major standard packing lines.

Valpak Insight Platform - Data for sustainability

The Insight Platform provides you with a clear view of your product and supplier data, enabling businesses to report on and manage performance, make informed decisions and demonstrate due diligence with regard to compliance and sustainability. The Platform consists of three different suites (Product Data, Sustainable Development and Global View) which allow users to easily review and interrogate their business’s data using different reporting functions. Depending on priorities, there is a choice of suites to enhance reporting.

    7. Value Engineering

      Value Engineering

We support customers in delivering cost-effective packaging solutions across both tray and flexible film formats through practical value engineering initiatives. Opportunities include downgauging tray thickness (micron), optimising existing designs, and converting structures such as rPET/PE to mono-material rPET where appropriate. For flexible films, we can also review material structures and specifications to reduce gauge, optimise performance, and remove unnecessary material usage while maintaining sealing and barrier requirements. These adjustments can help reduce overall material consumption, improve pack efficiency, and support sustainability objectives without compromising packaging performance or presentation. By reducing overall pack weight across trays and films, customers can also benefit from lower material costs and reduced Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) exposure, helping to drive down the total cost of packaging ownership. We work closely with customers to review existing specifications and identify commercially viable opportunities for cost savings, sustainability improvements, and supply chain efficiency across their packaging portfolio.

    8. Veri-CENTRAL

      Veri-CENTRAL

Veri-CENTRAL is the active link between the Veri-PACK machines on the production line and the MRP back office system. Veri-CENTRAL checks the production data to ensure that the labelling requirements conform to the COP and then instructs the veri-PACK to check that this has been printed correctly on the correct artwork. Veri-CENTRAL checks that all data is correct such as country of origin, use by date and price/kg BEFORE its even printed. Once production starts, Veri-CENTRAL logs all key events on every Veri-PACK including production data such as start time, up time, end time as well as critical label verification data such as timed good images and ALL bad images. This data can be critical in the unfortunate event of a EPW or customer complaint. Furthermore, many supermarkets are now updating their COP so that secure systems such as Veri-CENTRAL can replace time-consuming and expensive label check sheets.
