TECHNICAL LEAD
Alexia is a Through Life Technical Lead at Rolls-Royce, specialising in optimising long-life asset sustainment across the Defence portfolio. Beginning her career as an Aerospace Engineering Degree Apprentice, she progressed to complete a Master’s Degree Apprenticeship in Through-Life System Sustainment, where she focused on improving maintenance strategies and reducing turnaround times for military engines. Her work now leverages data-driven insights to enhance the availability and performance of complex Defence assets.
Beyond her technical role, Alexia is a Trustee for Enginuity, a Non-Executive Director for EAL, and Chair of the MAKE UK Future Makers group, representing the voice of young engineers in shaping industrial and skills policy. She also chairs the Skills England Apprentice Panel, influencing national apprenticeship strategy and skills reform.
A passionate advocate for apprenticeships, skills, and women in STEM, Alexia has dedicated hundreds of hours to outreach and mentoring. She is also one of only twelve women ever to achieve Chartered Engineer status at age 25 or younger, highlighting her exceptional contribution to the profession. Recognised with multiple national awards, she rose from apprentice to technical lead in under six years. Through her leadership, advocacy, and commitment to trust, integrity, and safety, she continues to drive engineering excellence and inspire the next generation of innovators.
