Hatzopoulos S.A. has completely redesigned the conventional packaging film previously-used for the ALDI 227g coffee packs, replacing it with a new monomaterial solution based on the X-CYCLE packaging concept, to be recyclable. The new all-PP packs meet the UK guidelines for packaging design for recycling and carry the corresponding OPRL label to help engage more consumers with recycling. At the same time, the new film offers enhanced packaging aesthetics and excellent high-barrier properties to preserve the sensitive coffee aroma, while it reaches full performance at the high-speed packaging lines.
