Autopack offer tow types of Nett weight systems, linear or Multihead weighers. Our linear weighing machines are used to accurately measure and dispense precise amounts of product into packaging containers whether they are bags, bottles or boxes. They typically consist of a series of weigh hoppers, or buckets, that are filled with the products to be dispensed. The hoppers have load cells which measure the weight of the product within the hopper and are connected to control systems which open and close discharge gates or chutes to release the product into packing containers. The Multihead range of weighers are a type of packaging equipment that is commonly used in the food industry to weigh products into bags, boxes and trays. Having several weighing heads – often ten or more – which are arranged in a circular or linear pattern, the weighing head has a load cell and a hopper that weighs out the required amount of product into the container below. The weighing heads work in unison to accurately weigh out the required amounts of product.
