The idea for hydracaddie came about in July 2024 after I had completed a marathon and realised I would not have been able to without effective nutrition.
I have played golf all my life and noticed nobody knows what to eat when out on the course – some opt for a sausage roll, others opt for fizzy drinks. Yet you will never see a player in the professional game consume either, so why are amateurs negatively impacting their performances by incorrectly fuelling their bodies.
In golf, many halfway huts offer unhealthy snacks and drinks which are great in the moment, but often lead to a energy crash due to the amounts of sugar and caffeine included. At hydracaddie, we have developed an electrolyte sachet, which is innovative to the golf space, and is caffeine-free and only 0.2g of sugar.
