Responding to growing demand for sustainable solutions from brands and retailers, PolyFlex is a direct replacement for nylon/PE laminates, offering recyclability through return-to-store plastics while meeting and exceeding a 120-day shelf-life requirement. Performing in line with present nylon/PE specifications, PolyFlex tackles one of the industry’s biggest recycling challenges by removing nylon from waste streams.

PolyFlex also delivers impressive measurable environmental savings: over 10% weight reduction, a carbon footprint of over 30%, and up to 25% less energy used compared to nylon laminates. Extruded using Coveris’ technical barrier films in the UK, PolyFlex integrates seamlessly into existing production lines, requiring no additional investment.

Available with or without a resealable zip, PolyFlex provides functionality and convenience for consumers while enabling brands to customise packs with high-clarity, HD flexo printing in up to 9 colours. Options for matt lacquers add a premium tactile finish and improved rigidity, creating impactful shelf appeal.
