About us
Quantum Packaging is a UK based international manufacturer that specialises in flexible packaging for the food sector. Our extensive product portfolio includes heat-sealable lidding film, reel-fed laminates and aluminium and plastic pre-cut or die-cut lids.
As one of the largest heat sealable film suppliers in Europe, we have decades of experience in supplying highly technical films underwritten with BRC certification. Our broad range of products ensures that we have a packaging solution to even the most complex requirement. At all times, we aim to minimise risk, by ensuring our products are vigorously tested against your base materials before samples are dispatched.
The printing team can print using flexography, off-set or rotogravure. We will ensure that your product design is printed to our high standards and achieve the finished appearance it deserves. Our packaging is designed to do more than just look good; it’s cost-effective, offers production efficiencies and upholds brand integrity.
Good project management ties it all together. Our customer service team provides full inventory and WIP reporting. Products & services
Die-Cut / Pre-Cut Lidding
Quantum Packaging has developed a wide range of pre or die-cut lids / diaphragms in either Aluminium, PET, or Co-Ex format. We have a broad portfolio of lidding products that will seal to nearly every base substrate under a wide variety of conditions. UV Flexo print technology is used to keep your up-front costs down without sacrificing print quality. This technology also allows us to print short runs from 100,000 lids upwards. We have hundreds of die-cut lid shapes ensuring tooling costs are kept to a minimum. The material that you select for your pre-cut lid is critical and care should be taken to match the lidding material with your chosen pot. We are here, of course, to help and advise on the optimum solution.
Lidding Films
Quantum manufactures a range of multi-seal and specialised mono lidding films. Our lidding solutions seal to a broad range of tray types including paper board, rPET, PP, Aluminium and PE. Our Universal multi-seal range contains at least 30% PCR content making it an environmentally sustainable lidding solution. Whether you seek to heat-seal the film at frozen, ambient or under hot-fill solutions, we have appropriate food grade solutions. High Barrier, anti-fog and low melt temp solutions also available.
Sachet Film
We produce a wide variety of mono and PA/PE films suitable for vertical and horizontal form fill seal. These films can withstand highly acidic and high fat environments, seal well through contamination and can be adapted for use in hot-fill conditions. Our mono range of films for sachet application can be refrigerated and/or frozen once sealed providing additional material use flexibility. We can print in flexo or gravure in up to 8 colours or have blue tint options also available.
