EcoMak® | Mono-PE Recyclable Packaging

EcoMak® includes solutions that make use of innovative new materials to ensure the packaging is fully recyclable, while preserving its essential properties: ultra high barriers, excellent machinability and shelf-life appeal. EcoMak® includes mono-PE packaging with perfect sealing strength, an ideal option to substitute a standardized non-recyclable Alu or PET based structures. We produce mono-PE packaging that can guarantee all functional barriers and high protective properties of the film, while being compatible with the established recycling streams.

EcoMak | Compostable packaging

EcoMak® | Recyclable paper-based packaging with barrier

The new EcoMak®| Recyclable Paper line brings to the food industry a unique blend of properties that enhances any product on the shelf. The paper-based structure does not contain any plastic but, instead, achieves heat-sealability through a coating layer, ensuring the recyclability of the material. At the same time, a barrier layer ensures that the enclosed product remains fresh, by shielding it against oxygen and water vapours, all the while enclosing the aroma that customers have grown to value. The combination of those attributes is further enhanced through the shelf appeal that is associated with paper packaging in this era of shifting consumer preferences. And to top things off, the 30-year printing expertise of Plastimak ensures an exceptional optical result. The result: Consumers can enjoy chocolate or snack bars fresh and harmlessly for the planet.

EcoMak® | Mono-PP Recyclable Packaging

We have developed mono-PP solutions under the EcoMak® line, that allow for the substitution of the traditionally used, and widely unrecyclable, PET metalized and Aluminum, utilizing instead newly-developed versions of Polypropylene to deliver a mono-material packaging that is fully recyclable while offering barriers to light, oxygen and water vapours. The innovative mono-PP structure is also suitable for acidic filling (ie. in packaging of olives) as it ensures that the product remains unaltered, as the low pH filling is contained successfully. In addition, the structure is rigid enough to take the form of a Doypack stand-up pouch, with all the additional benefits thus derived, such as ease-of-use and shelf appeal.

We provide a full range of high-performance ready-made pouches, tailored to our customers' needs, available in both conventional and recyclable materials, fully meeting the modern demands of the market including the food, cosmetics, pet food industry etc. We can offer: (1) Doypack / Stand-up pouches (with or without zipper), for easy-opening and resealing. An ideal choice for shelf display. (2) Gusseted pouches, ideal for impressive shelf presence and easy storage.
