Chestnut Biopolymers Opens state of the art formulation and testing facility

In April 2025 following a 12 month build, Chestnut Biopolymers opened its formulation and testing facility in Darlington, England. This enables customer enquiries requiring specific mechanical properties and life cycles to be made and tested in days

Since 2022 client enquiries were formulated and tested through a range of university and industry partners, meaning the process could take as long as 9 months for complex challenges. This new facility enables the team to execute client enquires in days and weeks not months.
