Shrink Sleeves
Cost effective decoration for primary and promotional applications of any shape and size. Shrink sleeves are an attractive option to decorate a wide variety of different shaped containers. Shrink sleeves can be used as primary decoration or as a cost-effective way to cover an existing design with new information such as a promotion without having to remove the old design first. As well as standard sleeves we also offer specialist products including multi-peel, tamper evident and full body perforation options in a wide variety of finishes including metallic, matt, patterned and textured. All our sleeves are suitable for the most demanding high-speed applicators. We offer our clients the highest level of expertise and innovation using the latest technology. In particular we are renowned for our ability to support niche brands with market leading product features without demanding excessive volume commitment, particularly important during the initial project launch phase. FILM OPTIONS - High shrink PET & OPS with varying shrink curves to suit all applications & conditions. - Low to high shrink PVC. - Wide stock caliper range from 40 to 70 micron. - Specialist white opaque ( UV block out ) and matt clear grades. - Next generation compostable plant based films. PROCESSING - Up to 9 colour UV HD flexo printing across multiple presses. - Standard reverse or combination in register reverse/surface lacquer options as required. - High speed welding and chopping including multiple perforation & anti tamper options. - Full in house studio including latest Esko artwork distortion software and experienced team members able to manipulate and reproduce the most challenging artwork files.

Paper Faced Sachets

Tungate are the undisputed UK market leaders in the production of paper faced printed sachets and flexible packaging wraps. Our key products include on reel printed laminates for dried food, confectionary, snack and health products, beverages, performance and non-food products. We also produce specialist paper faced laminates suitable for vertical bagging operations. We stock an extensive range of laminates and can also develop bespoke solutions to perfectly match your demands. Combine this with our in-house studio, CTP facilities, on-site ink & coatings technicians and our turnaround times are second to none. Tungate Group launch ground breaking TG3 paper kerbside recyclable laminates
Complimenting Tungate’s highly successful TG2 kerbside recyclable paper laminate range, the innovative and highly experienced Midlands based operation now brings it’s groundbreaking TG3 range to the market. Brandholders will continue to have a choice between rustic MG and smooth coated finishes. The primary grades utilise high performance metallised polyolefin sealer side films which provide excellent WV barrier performance and high speed line performance with all pack formats. In addition, Tungate’s new TG3XL grades now offer outstanding OTR ( gas ) barriers utilising specially developed barrier coatings laid onto non metallised polyolefin sealer side films. In all cases the new TG3 range continues to offer class leading features such as full FSC accreditation, <10% polymer content ( = green kerbside recyclable ), 100% resistance to fats and oils, and “built in” cost effectiveness.
Tungate joins forces with Mondi to promote their latest “green fibre” paper flexible extrusion laminates
Tungate and Mondi will be jointly showcasing their latest ultra low polymer rustic MG paper kerbside recyclable extrusion coated laminates at the NEC this February. Amongst a wide range of options include a highly cost effective 44gsm grade, and a pre tinted brown 84gsm option. All the available grades are classed in the lowest taxable EPR band within the paper and card category. These materials are ideal for low barrier applications such as “on the move” snacks, collation and multi pack bags, short shelf life food products , and also non food applications such as games and household products. Full FSC accreditation and up to 9 colour printing via Tungate’s groundbreaking low energy LED HD flexo and offset technologies complete a compelling market proposition.
