Shrink Sleeves

Many major container manufacturers have already decided to move from printed cans to Shrink Sleeve with good reason! From the appearance on shelf, a labelled can look the same as a pre-printed can to the consumer: to the manufacturer, the process brings huge benefits in terms of commercial savings, logistics & inventory control plus the ability to increase flexibility of production runs within the aerosol manufacturing plant. For marketers smaller print runs are commercially more viable which means that ad hoc promotions can be implemented more cost effectively without disrupting production efficiencies. A shrink sleeve is a “heat shrinkable” seamed flexible label which can be used as an alternative to self adhesive labels for product decoration. Supplied on a continuous reel and applied to the container then shrunk using either hot air or steam. The sleeve shrinks to the container giving 360° decoration and graphics. Produced using up to 11 colours, shrink sleeves can also be used as a vehicle for marketing activities or tactical promotions. Sleeves can be used for visual tamper evidence of product and used on unusual and non-standard shape glass, metal or plastic containers. For added decoration a range of print finishes can be utilised including glitter varnishes, rainbow inks, spot holographic effects and matt and gloss varnishes to create impact and stand out at shelf edge.

Wraparound Film and ROSO

From the appearance on shelf, a labelled can look the same as a pre-printed can to the consumer: to the manufacturer, the process brings huge benefits in terms of commercial savings, logistics & inventory control plus the ability to increase flexibility of production runs within the aerosol manufacturing plant. For marketers smaller print runs are commercially more viable which means that ad hoc promotions can be implemented more cost effectively, without disrupting production efficiencies. To improve impact of the can high lustre metallic films, holographic and speciality inks such as fluorescent, thermochromic and glow in the dark can be used for extra stand-out on-shelf. High quality graphics which can be laminated in-line (if required). Can be used with either Krones, Sacmi & B&H applicators. Application of up to 36,000 cans an hour. Peel n Reseal Sometimes known as peel & reveal labels, these labels are dual layer labels with a peelable, re-sealable top. The peel & reseal mechanic can be utilised as an alternative to sleeves or to using a top & bottom label: enabling information such as storage, care instructions, recipes, hints & tips or preparation details to be incorporated in one applied label. This product can be supplied in any reel orientation and can combine non-thermal and thermal substrates, or alternative substrate constructions if required. Unique Numbering Used for web site and text & win promotions this mechanic is increasingly appealing to create impact, generate interest and provide creative point of difference at shelf edge. Unique numbering can be used to create a database (and thus cross-selling of other products & promotions) or as a call to action enabling further consumer interaction with the brand. This can be applied to any of our packaging items. Pro-Tag™ Pro-Tag™ Neck-Collars are a unique concept which are linerless, roll-fed, promotional neck-collars that can be applied at high-speeds utilising automatic application machinery. Leading Edge are able to hire out the machinery with implementation engineering support. Once added to your current line application speeds can reach up to 350 bottles per minute and are up to 75% cheaper than a conventional neck collar. Standard single cut tags are also available. Cartons/Blister & Insert Cards

Producing singularly cut HD printed board blister cards using specialist blister varnishes for use on blister packs and 2 side printed insert cards. Various material available at different thicknesses and finishes.
