Kornelis has a wide range of standard caps (twist of, roll on and snap caps) from 43 to 110 mm, for e.g.: creamers, coffee, peanut butter, honey, etc. Our caps are available in 150 standard colours. It is possible to have an embossing on top of the cap with your own brand or logo.

Sprinkle cap 63 mm

The sprinkle cap 63 mm for glass and PET jars and is suitable for herbs and spices. Possible to sprinkle in different doses through large and small sprinkle holes. The cap have separate valves to close and is possible with liner.

E-cap - light weight closures

New range of light weight standard twist off caps, now available in 63 - 66 - 70 - 77 and 82 mm. Available with printed tamper evident seal. Choose from a wide range of standard colours and high gloss translucent materials. In Mould Label (IML)

In Mould Label (IML) is a technique where a preprinted label of polypropylene (PP) is placed in the mould. Then the molten PP is added to the mould. It fuses with the label and while curing, takes the shape of the mould. Result: label and packaging become one. Stand out on the shelf? This is your chance! Metal look closure

Kornelis Caps & Closures latest innovation is the metal look cap. The cap is an alternative to the metal closures on, for example, jars for mayonnaise, honey or chocolate spread. The cap can also be made from sustainable raw materials; bio circular or chemically recycled. The metal look cap can also be provided with an IML (in mould label). This label is made according to the customer's own design. An IML is more environmentally friendly than a sticker, because the packaging and the label consist of the same material. Both can be fully recycled in the same waste stream. In the case of IML, a sticker does not have to be placed separately on the cap. That saves a lot of time and costs. Available in 63, 66, 70, and 82mm in diameter, Kornelis achieves a singular shiny appearance by polishing the mold extra well. And since the company is all about delivering the perfect look, every metallic color is available! From copper-colored to deep black, brands will get the cap they're looking for. Sealing (temper evidence) is possible using induction sealing, gluing or a foam insert.

Induction Heat Seal (IHS) - multitab

For the right barrier of a product, not only the cap is important but also the sealing by a liner. Next to producing standard and custom made caps, Kornelis is also specialised in adding various liners to the caps. In the wide range of foil and liners which can be glued and heated into caps, our R&D department has now developed the multitab. This unique multitab liner is an IHS foil with tabs. These tabs are added to give the consumer an exceptionally easy use (more grip) with peeling the foil off the top of container. An additional advantage is that there is no need to use glue, as the liner remains in the cap because of the tabs. The IHS foil can be used for PET as well as glass containers and because it does not have a cardboard backing it is perfectly suitable for several sprinkle caps.

Canderel sprinkle cap - custom made

Kornelis is proud to present the packaging for the Canderel brand in her range again. You can find these well recognizable sprinkle products in two different sizes on the shelves now. The cap is designed to fit perfectly to the design of the jar, a lightweigth sprinkle cap with two different sprinkle holes. The tamper evident is performed by a Multitab easy opening seal. This is an induction foil that is exceptionally easy to use for the consumer. The cardboard layer which previously detained in the cap no longer needs to be squeezed out of the cap

Tube cap - custom made

After Kornelis previously has designed the 63 mm closure for Zaanse mayonnaise, recently an adapted design for the mayonnaise tube was followed. This new PE tube cap fits well in line with other ‘Zaanse' products. In order to ensure an even better thread of the cap it is produced in a twister mould. This thread gives greater user convenience and ensures content. Here too has been chosen for an engraving on the top of the cap for total recognition.

Range VOSS Water - custom made

Kornelis caps & closures has been the supplier of Voss caps for many years. In addition to the well-known light grey cap the range has been expanded with two new colours. In order to distinguish between the various types of VOSS water (still, sparkling and flavoured) has been chosen for the addition of a dark grey and white cap.Two sizes of caps are produced; 31mm for 375ml glass bottles and 38mm for 800ml glass bottles and 850ml and 500ml PET bottles. All caps are provided with a liner for leakage resistance. This stylish range of caps is produced in close collaboration with VOSS water.

Kornelis developed a flip-top pouring cap for soya sauce which has a tamper evidence feature. For glass jars it includes a Snap-on system as well as having an easy, re-sealable opening action.

Light weight 70mm SP400

Recently we released our latest addition to our range of lightweight closures, the 70mm SP400, designed to be as durable and easy to use as many of the company's other closures but with a noticeable reduction in weight.

Sunpat closure - custom made

Kornelis now produces the well know Sunpat closure. This closure has been produced in a 3-colour version for the UK market.

Ultra low CT cap

Recently Kornelis added a new lid to its lightweight range, an ultra light 82 mm low model with continuous thread. This tailor made cap is suitable for a number of applications; both frying oil as olive oil can be used under this lid. The IHS inlay provides a leakproof barrier and guarantees the consumer first use. The wide mouth is perfect for pouring back the oil easily in the bottle.

Induction Heat Seal (IHS) printed - custom made

ENLARGE IMAGE Instant coffee requires a lot of packaging care. A large part of the enjoyment of drinking coffee is the delight of its aroma while making it. Therefor above all the cap has to be sealed properly to prevent leakage of the aroma. Perfect sealing means also a longer shelf life at home as well as in the store. Beanies, a prominent coffee supplier in UK, has choosen a beautiful printed Induction Heat Seal and together with the glossy 58mm cap with a prominent coffee been motif embossed, this has become an eye-catching item.

Sprinkle cap for spices - custom made

To strengthen the range of a major Belgian spices supplier, in addition to existing 230ml jar we have developed a smaller jar. This 125 ml pp jar comes with 58 mm snap on sprinkle caps in four colours. The cover consists of two sprinkle openings. Both jar and caps are custom made solutions.

Softline cap is a 'cool' solution for Italian ice - custom made

An Italian ice supplier for Albert Heijn, a well-known Dutch retailer, launched a new line of luxury ice cream products. The 82mm softline cap was the perfect solution. The smooth finish of the cap makes for an ergonomically-pleasing user experience. Furthermore, an induction foil with multitab (for easy opening) makes this PET cap ideal for cold temperatures.

New construction factory hall

In the spring of 2016 we started the building of a new factory hall. The fast growth of Kornelis made this new construction necessary. Behind the current building rises a new acclimatised hall of 4.000m2. The new building will meet all the latest requirem
