It is several years now since we joined the circular economy!
Even though we had a significant experience in the use of recycled raw materials in sectors such as agriculture and retail, industry has always been a poor user. That’s because of important technical obligations (shrinkage, stretching…) due to random quality raw material. The growing raw material flow (extension of sorting Instructions) and sorting techniques evolving, we can now reconsider these solution.
Over the last 3 years, BARBIER Group have been investing in post-consumer recycling (PCR) technologies. This will enable them to insert up to 50% PCR material in shrink films. The PCR material has a minimal impact on the visual aspect of the pack (haze, specks) and the strength of the film is similar to the virgin material. The CO2 footprint of a PCR film is estimated to be 20% to 60% lower than virgin films. This is our RECYPLAST® film range.

Stretch Film (Blown or Cast)
The reduction of primary and secondary packaging encouraged us to develop new ranges of films in order to answer the preoccupations of crushing and a lack of stability of the pallets. The objectives of reduction of costs in the industry favored the development of new films, more economical and more powerful. For companies that have wrapping machines to protect loads, our machine films are the best way to protect their products and ensure they reach their clients in perfect condition. This film is a good compromise between the performance, the stability and the quantity of film deposited. With a 9 layers machine, we produce high performance film that allows great versatility. For heavy and irregulars loads, with perforating corners, Our range of stretch film cast guarantees an optimal result. With a pre stretching up to 390%, it offers a significant reduction in cost per pallet. The film does not suffer any loss of width, will not tear and retains its elastic memory to hold the load.
Stretch hood
The Stretch hood is studied to guarantee all the functions of impermeability, of behaviour of load and stability of pallets. It ensures a better output the use and a better presentation. This product brings an important economy in term of overall costs. We offer three versions of stretch hood each one offering of the features and specific advantages.
Shrink hood
This Shrink Hood is coextruded in 3 layers. The coextrusion open greater possibilities in the development of our formulations. It can be adapted to the use: • types of loads to maintain and protect (bags plastic, packs of water, etc), • type of automatic machines, • stability pallets waited. We have a wide range of Shrink hood which presenting particular technicals characteristics and specific advantages.
FFS FLAT FILM
This coextrusion film or FFS Flat film have formulations which can be adapted to the use: • products to pack (pellet wood, compost, wool of insulation, currency, litter, etc), • rates machines, • and of returned wished We have a wide range of FFS flat Film presenting particular technical characteristic and specifics advantages.
