Fujifilm rebrands HS Series as Acuity Aristo
Fujifilm has officially rebranded its HS Series single-pass inkjet platform as Acuity Aristo, marking a major milestone in the platform’s evolution from R&D to a fully validated, commercially available solution for high-volume print production.
The rebrand was unveiled during an exclusive open house event at the Barcelona headquarters of Barberán, Fujifilm’s long-standing development partner. Attendees – including industry leaders, partners, and media – were the first in the world to witness live demonstrations of the Acuity Aristo HS6000 and HS3000 in full production mode. The event also featured technical briefings, guided tours, and direct conversations with the Fujifilm development team, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at the technology and innovation driving the platform.
Following the event, the HS6000 unit was carefully disassembled and transported to UK-based print and marketing services provider Linney, which will become the first site globally to install and operate an Acuity Aristo system.
The Acuity Aristo series is the result of a multi-year collaboration between Fujifilm and Barberán, combining Barberán’s mechanical engineering expertise with Fujifilm’s advanced inkjet technology and ink formulation capabilities. The result is a robust, production-ready platform designed to meet the demands of the ultra-high-volume sign and display market.
“Rebranding the platform as Acuity Aristo marks a significant milestone, signalling its transition from research and development to a fully validated commercial product,” said Oliver Mills, Project Marketing Manager at Fujifilm Wide Format Inkjet Systems.
“This open house was the first time the full Acuity Aristo range was demonstrated live. It marked the beginning of an exciting next phase, as we move into installations, case studies, and wider market rollout.”
The Acuity Aristo platform is expected to play a key role in Fujifilm’s broader strategy to expand its presence in the industrial print sector, offering customers a scalable, high-performance solution that delivers both speed and quality.
With the first installation underway and more to follow, Fujifilm is now entering a new chapter – one focused on real-world application, customer success stories, and continued innovation in high-speed inkjet technology.
