It's very different and good to have these podcast-type talks and panels, like the one we've just seen. It's great to see that it's not just people who live in this area (Birmingham) but also loads of people coming from everywhere The open talks are great, and the people networking is amazing - you can't get it anywhere else. The event was very well attended this year with lots of positive energy from both visitors and exhibitors. There was a very good mix of exhibitors covering a wide range of materials and technologies which made the show extremely relevant no matter what sector you work in. The show provided a great opportunity to network with existing contacts and to meet new ones. Each person I met, was really excited by the show and how it would help them with their own packaging challenges. The content delivered by the speakers over the 2 days covered a wide range of subjects from design, the evolving legislation and sustainability which made it an extremely attractive show to attend.
