GMG ColorBook: The custom colour guide that shows how your brand colours will print

Description

GMG ColorBook allows the production of custom colour guides based on a precise set of real print conditions – using the production press, inks and substrate.

It allows digital printers or conventional printers with a fixed ink set of four to seven colours to produce a colour guide physically demonstrating exactly how spot colours will be reproduced.

Under each colour, GMG ColorBook gives the exact ink combination (colour separation) used to reproduce the spot colour. If the spot colour reference colour value is out of gamut, GMG ColorBook tells you, and by how much (in dE).

GMG ColorBook is an option for GMG ColorServer and GMG OpenColor, which use the power of the GMG OpenColor Separation Rule. This contains all the optimised separation rule sets for printing your spot colours accurately. You can customise these rules if you want to:

• Minimise the total number of inks
• Restrict use of low ink coverage
• Use a specific set of inks to reproduce a series of spot colours
