The Surecel launch represents a new departure in high quality self locking clamshells for a wide variety of markets. Surecels are supplied as either Surecel bespoke or Surecel standard. The bespoke range is a collection of plinth profiles that an add on shape can be produced for. Because the tooling exists for the plinth the only extra cost is for the add-on tool which keeps tooling costs to a minimum. Surecel standards are a collection of standard finished packs that will suit lots of applications. All the tooling exists so there are no extra costs to have your packaging manufactured from these standard shaped tools.
All the Surecel packs feature a new easy lock facility that it is very difficult to open. In addition the packs have been designed in such a way that a simple hand welder, not much bigger than a box of chocolates, can be used to make 2 almost invisible welds that make the pack as secure as a fully HF welded pack without the need for investment in expensive and bulky welding equipment.
