Spread over 120,000 sq feet, well over £6m has been invested in the hub, which consists of in-house food packaging manufacturing, warehouse facilities for Aegg’s glass and plastic packaging, and a logistics service comprising of over 30 vehicular units.
The hub offers Aegg’s customers the option to source plastic or glass packaging, some bespoke, some produced in its Eye manufacturing unit. Customers can also store their glass or plastic packaging in its warehouse and have the packaging delivered to their production lines as and when needed using Aegg’s in-house haulage service.
