Snap In, the patent pending new product from Macpac is a strong versatile base that can be used for a variety of pack shapes and sizes made up of 2 or more parts. Typically a transparent sleeve is attached to the Snap In base with a series of press studs that fold up from the base and snap into die punched holes in the sleeve. Precision manufacturing of the tabs provides a perfect fit and a strong union between base and sleeve. Alternatively the transparent sleeve could just as easily be corrugated board fitting into a much larger base that could then be used as a merchandising unit with an additional snap in design used for the top. Snap In bases could be round, square, rectangular, octagonal or indeed any preferred shape. Snap In was entered into the Starpack awards for 2015 and won a coveted bronze award. The Tesco Finest exotic plant range has been re-packaged using Snap In because it is easier to assemble than the previous packaging and is simpler for the customer to access the plant without having to use a sharp blade or scissors
