Sirane Group – established in 2002 – specialises in the manufacturing of absorbent products, bags, pouches, film and board, offering a wide range of innovative packaging solutions.
Recent developments include plastic free pouches and barrier films, which are used across various sectors, and water-resistant board, which has many uses. In total we manufacture more 4,000 products across our sites (we have 3 manufacturing sites in the UK, 1 in the Czech Republic, 1 in Mexico, and in 2022 we opened a site in Grand Prairie, Texas).
In 2022 we also opened Sira-Pack – our co-packing and fulfilment service – and for 2023 we’ll be exhibiting in Contract Pack for the first time. Services offered include pouch-filling and VFFS.
Absorbency – Sirane are the European market leaders in absorbency, and we can offer a wide range of absorbent solutions, all made to order. Possibilities here include compostable pads, recyclable paper-based pads, ovenable pads, anti-microbial pads and more. Sectors we sell into include meat, seafood, fruit and medical/healthcare. Range of colours, range of absorbencies.
Bags, pouches & films – Sirane is the largest manufacturer of stand-up pouches in the UK, and we also offer a number of other flexible packaging solutions including flat pouches, film on reel, retort pouches, ovenable/microwaveable bags/pouches, pillow packs and more. Our eco-friendly offering includes plastic-free paper-based barrier films/pouches and recyclable plastics. All our printing is done in the most sustainable way possible, using our water-based printing press.
Board – Sirane’s board division has seen multi-million-pound investment in recent years, and we offer a range of products and services including salmon boards, cake & patisserie boards, susceptor board, ovenable boards, tree-shelters, U-cards and more. Many of our board products are plastic-free and recyclable, using water-based coatings to give the required barrier/grease resistance.
Sirane has a huge level of expertise across these three sectors, and we also offer NPD services.
We also offer a substantial range of services in to the medical & healthcare/lab sector, including compliant packaging (absorbency, 95 kPa bags etc) and kit assembly & fulfilment.
