About us

Martek is an independent supplier of coding and labelling systems including industrial inkjet printers, handheld inkjet printers, colour label printers, thermal transfer label printers and automatic labelling machines.

As well as high-capacity, inline printers and labellers, Martek also specialises in semi-automatic labellers and handheld inkjet printers ideally suited to smaller scale manufacturing and packing operations including craft breweries, artisan food producers and hand crafted products.

Our EBS-260 and EBS-250 Handjet printers can be used to print text, logos, barcodes and 2D codes onto a wide range of items including outer case cartons, bulk bags and wooden crates. For smaller items such as bottles, jars, primary cartons and sleeves, our REINER jetStamp printers can be used to print text, barcodes, 2D codes and detailed graphics. Both ranges are fully portable and can be used on both porous and non-porous materials.

For high-speed inline printing, the new EBS-6600 Boltmark-II printer comes with an optional internal power backup system that maintains power during power outages and automatically flushes and shuts down the printer if power is interrupted for over 30 seconds ensuring ink does not dry within the printer causing restarting issues.

The UBS Aplink series includes self-contained and modular high-resolution printers suitable for printing outer case cartons, shrink-wrapped packs and many other items avoiding the need to apply a label. Systems are available for porous and non-porous surfaces using UV curing to instantly dry inks on non-porous materials including plastic, glass and metal. A single 1-litre bottle of ink typically prints over 200,000 images equivalent to a 100x120mm label therefore replacing 350Kg of labels and the associated freight carbon for transporting the raw materials to the label producer then from the label producer to the end user. There is also no backing paper water to dispose of which generally cannot be recycled… and the cost per print is significantly lower than using a label.

Our label printer range includes full-colour SwiftColor label printers and thermal transfer label printers from GoDEX and Carl Valentin.

Automatic label applicator and print-and-apply systems from Collamat and Klinger can be used to automatically label most products.
