Over the last 3 years, we’ve worked hard to bring our marking knowledge and experience together to create a new approach to coding and marking. The industry has long been stagnant, reliant on expensive maintenance contracts, and overly complicated systems – designed almost intentionally so.
In particular, Thermal Inkjet (TIJ) printing has been the unloved child of the industrial marking world; with limited features, limited colours, and a limited customer experience. Some of this has been because the ink technology just hasn’t been there to meet most customers demands, and this is finally changing. While TIJ inks can now mark nearly any surface, the main players in the industry are still unlikely to talk to you about them. Why would they, when they simply don’t make as much money selling it to you as their other solutions?
So, taking TIJ technology we’ve developed our range of compact printers to focus on what we think really matters:

And it all starts with our hardware design. We’ve taken powerful quad core processers that you’d usually find in the latest and greatest mobile phones, and stuck them in a beautiful and hardwearing aluminium chassis. Then we’ve based the entire system on an open source software platform, with the ability to communicate easily with all industrial networking standards.
All this design work simply means that our printers can grow with your business, communicate with your hardware and networks, and get smarter with each update – similar to the latest mobile phones we’ve based them on.
From there, we’ve worked hard to ensure our printers can be set up and run by nearly anyone; in as little as 10 minutes – we’ve even filmed it. We’ve made it so easy to make sure you have the flexibility to move your printers onto other lines or onto new equipment yourselves, without waiting for an expensive engineer to turn up; we still offer them, but you won’t need them!
If you have any print issues, change the cartridge and within 5 minutes you’ll be up running again. Limited downtime, limited headaches. Again, without the need for expensive and time consuming service engineers and contracts.
All this is great, but if it was too expensive it would be useless right? Well, our upfront costs are around £3500. Not only is that much lower than the set up costs for most of other solutions out there, in 80% of cases our running costs should also be much lower as maintenance is taken out of the equation.
