About us

Established in 1933 the British Plastics Federation (BPF) is recognised as the single voice of the UK plastic industry with over 500 members across the plastics industry value chain, including polymer producers and suppliers, additive manufacturers, converters and manufacturers of plastic, recyclers, services providers, end users, and machinery manufacturers, representing over 80% of the industry by turnover. The BPF Plastics and Flexible Packaging Group is an active group within the BPF and represents UK manufacturers of all types of plastic primary, secondary and tertiary packaging including flexible pouches, films bags, pots, tubs, trays, bottles, drums, boxes, cups , caps and tubes. The group provides respected and credible representation on behalf of its members to the general public, government (UK and international), the media, researchers and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
